IRENA REmap 2030 for Africa Finds High Growth Potential for Renewables [viewed]

Global Citizen Festival Spotlights SDGs, WASH [viewed]

global_citizen27 September 2015: The fourth annual Global Citizen Festival took place in New York City's Central Park alongside the UN Sustainable Development Summit, which adopted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. An estimated crowd of 60,000 people participated, and UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon called on attendees to help make the new Goals "a global reality,” and demand that their leaders deliver on them.
